Utilising HeiQ technology the Gtechniq mask has shown significantly improved reduction in virus infectivity compared to untreated masks. HeiQ Viroblock is an intelligent technology that has been proven effective against bacteria and enveloped viruses.

The silver technology attracts the oppositely charged virus. The fatty spherical vesicle technology helps to deplete the viral membrane of its cholesterol. The silver then destroys the virus rapidly.

The masks are machine washable and can be put through at least 30 gentle cycles at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees celsius. The washing will not affect the antiviral and antibacterial textile technology.
