Renishaw M3 Straight Styli with zirconia Ball

Straight styli are designed to inspect simple features where direct, unobstructed contact with a measured surface is possible. A carbon fibre stem is very lightweight and ideal for applications where weight is critical. Zirconia is a particularly tough ceramic material with hardness and wear characteristics approaching those of ruby. Its surface properties make it an ideal material for aggressive scanning applications on cast iron components.
