This coil is used for electronic ignition systems where the mechanical points system (“make & break”) is substituted by an electronic switching system. It is a direct replacement for the Lucas DLB193. The coil body is 55mm diameter and the coil tower is made from polyester. Coils for electronic ignition systems have a lower resistance compared to a standard coil and should only be used for electronic systems to preserve its working life. Coils for a ballast system (CLS10251) should not be used with electronic systems. Complete with fixing clip. (Not Lucas branded)
