878 Series
To suit the 1961, 1965 and 1966 series micrometers. Can be fitted to the anvil or spindle on external micrometers to enable round or irregular surfaces to be measured. The ball is hardened and moves freely to allow contact with the object being measured.
Note: Always deduct the ball diameter from every reading.
